carb) 7. 2 tbsp soy sauce (Keto
friendly) 8. 1 tbsp rice vinegar 9. 1 tbsp sugar substitute 10. 1 tsp cornstarch (or arrowroot powder for Keto) 11. 1 cup beef broth 12. 1 egg, beaten 13. 1/4 cup green onions, thinly sliced 14. Salt & pepper to taste 15. 1 tsp sesame oil
Instructions
In a small bowl, mix together mirin, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sugar substitute, and cornstarch (or arrowroot powder). Stir until well combined and set aside.
Heat the beef broth in a large pan or sukiyaki pot over medium heat. Once simmering, add the onion and cook for 1 minute.
Add the shiitake mushrooms, napa cabbage, snow peas, and season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Gradually pour the mirin mixture into the pan, stirring constantly. Bring to a gentle simmer.
Add the thinly sliced beef and cook until it's cooked to your desired doneness.
In a small bowl, beat an egg and slowly pour it into the simmering sukiyaki. Gently mix with the other ingredients and cook for about 20 seconds, or until the egg is set.
Remove the pan from heat, add sesame oil, and mix well.
