  • 2 beef patties, pre
  • formed or handmade 1/2 cup Smoky Pimiento Cheese (see recipe below) 2 buns, split and toasted 2 slices of American cheese Lettuce leaves, for serving Tomato slices, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium high heat.
  2. Season the beef patties with your favorite BBQ seasoning.
  3. Place the patties on the grill and cook to desired doneness (about 4 minutes per side for medium).
  4. In the last minute of cooking, add a slice of American cheese on each patty to melt.
  5. Toast the buns on the grill until slightly charred.
