  • Wooden skewers Marinade:
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
  • Salt, to taste Rice:
  • 1 cup jasmine rice
  • 1 and 1/2 cups water
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the marinade ingredients. Add the beef cubes and mix well, ensuring they are evenly coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Prepare the jasmine rice according to package instructions. Set aside.
  3. Thread the marinated beef cubes, onion wedges, and bell pepper squares onto wooden skewers.
  4. In a large skillet or on a grill, heat olive oil over medium high heat. Add the skewered kebabs and cook for 5 minutes per side, or until cooked through and slightly charred. Remove from heat.
