Instructions

  2. Add melted butter and beaten egg to the mixture mix well.
  3. In a separate large bowl, combine flour and salt. Gradually add the wet ingredients, mixing until combined. Knead on a floured surface for 5 7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  5. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). In a small bowl, mix cinnamon sugar.
  6. Roll out dough on a floured surface into a large rectangle. Spread softened butter over the dough and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar mixture.
  7. Roll up the dough tightly, starting from the longer side. Cut into 1 inch slices and place in a greased 9x13 inch baking pan, close together.
