  • 2 cups all
  • purpose flour
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • Salt, to taste
  • Oil for frying (vegetable or canola)

Instructions

  1. In a shallow dish, whisk together the flour and seasonings. In another dish, pour in the almond milk.
  2. Dip each cauliflower floret into the almond milk, then coat it evenly with the flour mixture.
  3. Heat about 2 inches of oil in a heavy bottomed pot to 350°F (175°C).
  4. Fry the coated cauliflower bites in batches for 3 4 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through, turning occasionally for even cooking.
  5. Remove from oil with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. Repeat until all bites are fried.
