  • in chicken thighs
  • 1 cup your favorite BBQ sauce
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar

  • 2 tbsp worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • Salt, to taste
  • 6 slider buns, split
  • Lettuce leaves, for serving
  • Pickles, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the BBQ sauce, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt. Set aside.
  2. Season chicken thighs with salt and pepper. Place in a single layer in the bottom of a slow cooker.
  3. Pour the BBQ sauce mixture over the chicken, ensuring all pieces are well coated.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6 7 hours or high for 3 4 hours, until chicken is tender and pulls apart easily with a fork.
  5. Remove chicken from slow cooker and shred using two forks. Return to sauce in the slow cooker and stir to combine.
  6. Assemble sliders by placing shredded chicken on the bottom half of each bun, adding lettuce leaves and pickles as desired. Top with the top halves of the buns and serve warm.
