Ingredients

  • 2 large beef patties (preferably grass
  • fed) 1 tablespoon churrasco seasoning (a blend of paprika, garlic, onion, salt, and pepper) 4 slices Monterey Jack cheese 4 slices of bacon, cooked until crispy 4 burger buns, toasted 1 cup arugula or lettuce 1 ripe tomato, sliced 1 red onion, thinly sliced Mayonnaise and mustard (for spread)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill or cast iron skillet to medium high heat.
  2. Generously season both sides of the beef patties with churrasco seasoning.
  3. Place the patties on the grill and cook for 4 minutes per side, or until your desired doneness is reached. Add cheese slices during the last minute of cooking to melt.
  4. Grill or toast the buns and assemble the burgers by spreading mayonnaise and mustard on the inside surfaces, adding the cooked patties with cheese, crispy bacon, arugula or lettuce, tomato, and red onion slices.
