Ingredients

  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 2 cups vegetable oil for frying
  • 1 large onion, thinly sliced into rings
  • 1 cup all
  • purpose flour
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 slices of cheddar cheese
  • 4 slices of thick
  • cut bacon
  • 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 4 tablespoons ketchup
  • 4 leaves of lettuce
  • 4 tomato slices

Instructions

  1. In a large frying pan, heat the vegetable oil to 350°F for frying onion rings.
  2. Coat the onion rings in flour and season with salt and pepper. Fry until golden brown, then remove from oil and set aside.
  3. Cook bacon in a separate pan over medium heat until crisp. Set aside.
  4. In another pan, cook burgers to your desired doneness, 4 5 minutes per side for medium. Top each burger with a slice of cheese during the last minute of cooking.
  5. Assemble burgers by spreading mayonnaise and ketchup on the bottom buns, adding lettuce, tomato slices, cooked bacon, fried onion rings, and finally placing the burger patty on top. Finish with the top bun.
