Ingredients
- 4 fresh bratwurst sausages
- 4 large soft pretzel buns
- 1 cup Fireball Sauce (recipe below)
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup sliced pickles
- 4 skewers Fireball Sauce:
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat grill or stovetop griddle to medium high heat.
- In a small bowl, combine all Fireball Sauce ingredients. Stir until well mixed and set aside.
- Thread each bratwurst onto a skewer and place on the preheated grill or griddle. Grill for 6 8 minutes, turning frequently, until cooked through.
- While the brats are cooking, slice the pretzel buns in half and lightly toast them on the grill or griddle until golden brown.
- Remove the brats from the grill and place them directly onto the toasted buns.
- Drizzle a generous amount of Fireball Sauce over each brat, followed by shredded cheddar cheese.
- Add pickle slices for an extra burst of flavor.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
