Ingredients
- 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp gochujang (Korean red chili paste)
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 8 small flour tortillas
- 1 cup shredded cabbage
- 1/2 cup chopped green onions
- 1/2 cup Korean pickles
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 1 lime, cut into wedges
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the gochujang, soy sauce, sugar, minced garlic, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Add the thinly sliced beef to the marinade and mix until well coated. Let it rest for 30 minutes for the flavors to meld.
- Preheat a grill or a grill pan on high heat.
- Sear the beef quickly, about 1 2 minutes per side, ensuring it's cooked through but still tender.
- Assemble the tacos by placing a portion of marinated and seared beef onto each tortilla.
- Top with shredded cabbage, chopped green onions, Korean pickles, and cilantro.
- Squeeze a lime wedge over each taco for an extra burst of flavor.
