Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce (store

  • 8 slider buns
  • 2 large sweet potatoes
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken breasts in your favorite BBQ sauce for at least an hour or overnight in the fridge.
  2. Preheat the grill or a grill pan to medium heat. Grill the marinated chicken breasts until cooked through, turning occasionally and brushing with more sauce as needed. Let them rest for 5 minutes before slicing into slider sized pieces.
  3. Cut sweet potatoes into thin fries. In a large pot, bring water to a boil, add the fries and cook for 2 3 minutes. Drain and pat dry. Toss in olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  4. Preheat oven to 400°F (205°C). Spread fries on a baking sheet and bake until golden brown and crispy, about 15 20 minutes.
  5. Assemble the sliders by placing the BBQ chicken on the bottom half of each slider bun, topping with coleslaw or pickles if desired. Add the top half of the bun and serve alongside the sweet potato fries.

Chef’s Insight

To add an extra layer of flavor, use a homemade BBQ sauce and let the chicken marinate overnight for maximum tenderness.

Notes

Feel free to add extra BBQ sauce to the sliders for more flavor and moisture.
