Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 lb salmon fillet, cut into four portions
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 lemon, zested and juiced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp chili flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. a. Season the salmon fillets with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat, add the seasoned salmon, and cook for 5 minutes per side or until cooked through. Set aside. b. In another pan, melt 2 tablespoons of butter and sauté the garlic for 1 minute. Add the shrimp, cook for 3 4 minutes or until pink and cooked through. Stir in the heavy cream, lemon juice, zest, and half of the parsley and cilantro. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Simmer for 2 3 minutes or until slightly reduced.
