Ingredients
- 2 oz vodka
- 1/4 cup blackberries, fresh or frozen
- 2 tbsp lavender
- infused heavy cream (see instructions)
- 1 tsp erythritol, or preferred sweetener
- Ice
- Fresh lavender sprigs, for garnish
- Edible flowers, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Begin by infusing the heavy cream with lavender. In a small saucepan, gently heat 1/2 cup of heavy cream and 1 tbsp of dried lavender over low heat until warm but not boiling. Remove from heat, cover, and let steep for 30 minutes to an hour, allowing the flavors to meld together. Strain through a fine mesh sieve into a jar, discarding the lavender leaves. Cover and refrigerate until chilled.
- In a blender or food processor, combine blackberries and erythritol. Blend until smooth, then press through a fine mesh strainer to remove seeds, creating a silky blackberry puree.
- Fill two cocktail glasses with ice, reserving one glass for the blackberry puree. Pour the vodka over the reserved glass of ice and gently stir. Gently pour the blackberry puree over the vodka layer, allowing it to sink beneath the surface like a cosmic event.
- Top off each glass with 1/2 oz of chilled lavender infused cream, creating a luxurious foam that mimics the night sky's celestial beauty.
- Garnish with fresh lavender sprigs and edible flowers (optional). Raise your glass to toast the stars above and share in the magic of the moment.
