  • 1 cup fresh raspberries 2 tablespoons lemon juice 4 tablespoons granulated sugar 1/2 cup cold sparkling water 3 cups ice cubes Fresh mint leaves and additional raspberries, for garnish

  1. In a small bowl, mash the fresh raspberries with a fork until they release their juices.
  2. In another bowl, combine lemon juice and granulated sugar. Stir well to dissolve the sugar.
  3. Add the mashed raspberries to the lemon sugar mixture and mix thoroughly.
  4. Divide ice cubes evenly among 2 tall glasses. Pour the raspberry lemon mixture over the ice, filling each glass halfway.
  5. Top off each glass with cold sparkling water, leaving about an inch of space from the top of the glass.
  6. Garnish with fresh mint leaves and additional raspberries as desired.
