  • 6 Moroccan green tea bags
  • 1/2 cup granulated erythritol or another keto
  • friendly sweetener, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 cups unsweetened almond milk
  • Fresh mint leaves and a sprinkle of cinnamon, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, bring water to a boil over high heat. Add the tea bags and simmer for 5 minutes, allowing the tea to steep.
  2. Remove the tea bags and add the sweetener, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, and nutmeg. Stir until the sweetener is dissolved.
  3. Add the lemon juice and almond milk, stirring gently. Reduce heat to low and allow the mixture to simmer for 5 minutes more.
  4. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly before straining the liquid into a large pitcher. Chill in the refrigerator until cold.
