Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the heavy cream, mascarpone, sugar, and vanilla extract. Beat with an electric mixer until soft peaks form. Set aside.
  2. In a shallow dish, combine the cold brewed coffee and cocoa powder. Stir until the cocoa is fully dissolved.
  3. Dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture briefly, then arrange them in a single layer at the bottom of a serving dish or individual glasses.
  4. Spread half of the whipped cream mixture over the soaked ladyfingers.
  5. Repeat with another layer of dipped ladyfingers and finish by spreading the remaining whipped cream on top.
  6. Garnish with dark chocolate shavings and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.
