  • 1 cup almond flour 1/2 cup granulated sugar 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted 6 oz dark chocolate, finely chopped 1/2 cup heavy cream Zest of one orange 1 tablespoon orange juice, freshly squeezed

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, sugar, and salt. Add melted butter and mix until well combined.
  3. Form small balls of dough and place them onto the prepared baking sheet, flattening them slightly with your fingertips.
  4. Bake for 10 12 minutes, or until golden brown. Allow to cool on a wire rack.
  5. In a microwave safe bowl, combine chocolate and heavy cream. Microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring after each interval, until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth. Stir in orange zest and juice.
  6. Drizzle the warm ganache over the cooled cookies and let it set for a few minutes.
