Ingredients
- 2 cups fresh lime juice
- 1 cup hibiscus tea concentrate (brewed from dried hibiscus flowers)
- 1 bottle sparkling water
- 4 tbsp agave syrup
- Lime wedges for garnish
Instructions
- Begin by brewing a pot of hibiscus tea and let it cool. Extract the concentrate by straining out the flower petals, and measure out one cup.
- In a large pitcher, combine the lime juice, hibiscus concentrate, and agave syrup. Stir well to create a bright fuchsia liquid base.
- To serve, pour the lime and hibiscus mixture into individual glasses filled with ice, leaving about an inch of space at the top.
- Gently pour sparkling water over the mixture to create a fizz, taking care not to overflow.
- Garnish each glass with a lime wedge and a sprig of mint for added color and aroma.
Chefβs Insight
The contrast of colors between the lime juice and hibiscus concentrate creates an appetizing visual experience.
Notes
To create the perfect fizz, pour sparkling water gently down the side of the glass to avoid excess foam.
