1 cup homemade guacamole (or store

1 cup salsa verde
1 (8 oz) package tortilla chips
2 green onions, finely chopped
1/4 cup fresh cilantro leaves, chopped

To assemble the dip, spread a layer of the cheese sour cream mixture at the bottom of an 8 inch square or round baking dish. Top the first layer with half of the tortilla chips, spreading them evenly across the dish. Spoon the guacamole salsa verde mixture over the chips and spread it out to cover the entire surface. Repeat the process by adding another layer of chips, followed by the remaining cheese sour cream mixture. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly before topping with green onions, cilantro leaves, and jalapeño slices if using. Season with salt and pepper as needed.
