  • ground grits

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, combine the chicken broth, water, and bring to a boil. Gradually whisk in the grits, reduce heat to low, and simmer until cooked through, about 20 minutes. Stir frequently to prevent sticking.
  2. Season shrimp with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper to taste. Set aside.
  3. In a separate pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in the shrimp and cook until pink, about 2 3 minutes per side. Remove from heat.
  5. Once grits are cooked, stir in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and butter until fully combined and smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
