Instructions

  3. In another bowl, beat egg yolks with honey until smooth. Stir in melted coconut oil and vanilla extract.
  4. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until well combined.
  5. In a separate bowl, beat egg whites until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the beaten egg whites into the batter.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan, smoothing the top with a spatula. Sprinkle chopped almonds and shredded coconut evenly over the top.
  7. Bake for 25 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let the torte cool in the pan for 10 minutes before removing it from the springform pan. Allow it to cool completely on a wire rack.
