Ingredients

  • Extra firm tofu
  • Adobo sauce (soy sauce, vinegar, garlic, pepper)
  • Garlic fried rice: white rice, vegetable oil, garlic, onion, carrots, peas, green onions, soy sauce, salt
  • Banana blossoms
  • Vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Prepare the adobo sauce by combining soy sauce and vinegar in a bowl. Set aside.
  2. Press the tofu to remove excess water, then crumble it into small pieces.
  3. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat, add tofu and cook until golden brown.
  4. Pour adobo sauce over the tofu and stir well, cooking for about 5 minutes. Set aside.
  5. In another pan, heat oil and sauté garlic and onion until fragrant. Add carrots and peas, followed by cooked white rice. Mix well and season with soy sauce and salt. Cook for a few more minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Fry banana blossoms in oil until crispy. Drain on paper towels.
  7. Plate the adobo tofu scramble, fried rice, and fried banana blossoms, garnishing with green onions.
