Salt to taste 16. 8 wooden skewers

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a pan, heat oil over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and cook until fragrant.
  3. Add onion, garlic, and ginger sauté until the onions turn golden brown.
  4. In a large bowl, mix yogurt, lemon juice, coriander, cumin, paprika, turmeric, black pepper, red chili powder (if using), salt, and the cooked onion mixture. Add paneer cubes and gently toss to coat them evenly in the marinade.
  5. Thread 4 5 paneer cubes onto each wooden skewer, reserving the marinade.
  6. Place the skewers on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 20 25 minutes or until golden and crispy.
  7. Brush with remaining marinade halfway through baking to enhance flavor and color.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
