  • range eggs 80g Hungarian smoked sausage (kolbász) 100g pickled cabbage (tĂşrĂłs tĂ©szta) 2 large slices of day
  • old sourdough bread 50g Hungarian sheep cheese (pálinka) 100g Hungarian farmer's sausage (fĹ‘zelĂ©k) 2 tbsp unsalted butter Freshly ground black pepper, to taste Sea salt, to taste Fresh dill, for garnish

Instructions

  1. a. Slice the smoked sausage and farmer's sausage into 1cm thick rounds. b. Cook the sausages in a non stick skillet over medium heat until browned on all sides. Remove from pan and set aside. c. In the same skillet, melt butter and fry the eggs to your desired preference. Season with salt and pepper. d. Toast the sourdough slices in the oven or toaster. Rub the warm toast with garlic clove for extra flavor (optional). e. Assemble the breakfast feast: Place a piece of toast on each plate, top with a fried egg, then add sausages and pickled cabbage. f. Crumble the sheep cheese over the dishes and garnish with fresh dill.
