In a large pan, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Add onions, garlic, and spices, stirring frequently. Once cooked, remove from heat and let it cool for a few minutes. In a separate bowl, combine the soaked bread, egg, raisins, apricot jam, milk, salt, and pepper. Add the bread mixture to the meat mixture, and mix well. Shape the meat mixture into 4 patties.
