Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef ribs
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, bell peppers)
  • 2 cups cooked white rice
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp gochujang (Korean red chili paste)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. a. In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, brown sugar, gochujang, and minced garlic to make the Spicy Garlic Soy Sauce. Set aside. b. Preheat a grill or grill pan on medium high heat. Season beef ribs with salt and pepper, then grill for 4 minutes per side or until desired doneness is reached. Brush with some of the Spicy Garlic Soy Sauce during the last minute of cooking. Remove from heat and let rest. c. In a large pan, heat sesame oil over medium heat. Add mixed vegetables and cook until tender crisp, about 3 minutes. Add cooked white rice and stir to combine. Cook for another 2 minutes, then remove from heat. Stir in half of the remaining Spicy Garlic Soy Sauce and green onions. d. Slice beef ribs into bite sized pieces and arrange on a serving plate alongside the Mixed Vegetable Fried Rice. Drizzle the remaining Spicy Garlic Soy Sauce over the beef ribs and garnish with additional green onions if desired.
