  • 1/4 cup melted coconut oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (205°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, oats, baking soda, cream of tartar, and coconut sugar.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the cold plant based milk and apple cider vinegar or lemon juice, then mix in the melted coconut oil.
  4. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and shape it into a round loaf. Place it on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Bake the soda bread for 20 25 minutes, or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly.
