  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup chocolate hazelnut spread
  • 1/2 cup chopped hazelnuts
  • Zest and juice of 1 orange
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, and salt.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine the warm milk and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
  3. Add the yeast mixture to the dry ingredients and mix until combined.
  4. Add the softened butter and continue mixing until a dough forms.
  5. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 10 minutes or until smooth and elastic.
  6. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  7. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  8. Roll out the dough into a rectangle and spread the chocolate hazelnut spread over it. Sprinkle with chopped hazelnuts.
  9. Starting from the longer side, roll up the dough tightly and slice it into 8 equal pieces. Arrange them in a greased loaf pan, cut side up.
