Ingredients

  • 12 large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 large lettuce leaves (romaine, iceberg, or butter lettuce)

Instructions

  1. a. In a medium bowl, combine prawns with salt and pepper, mix well and set aside. b. Heat oil in a pan over medium high heat. Add prawns and cook until pink and opaque, about 2 minutes per side. Remove from the pan and let cool. Slice in half lengthwise. c. In a separate bowl, combine sliced bell pepper, julienned cucumber, carrots, bean sprouts, and green onions. Toss with spicy sesame sauce until evenly coated. d. Assemble lettuce wraps by placing a few spoonfuls of the vegetable mixture in each lettuce leaf, topping with sliced prawns and a sprinkle of sesame seeds. Serve immediately.
