Ingredients
1 pre
baked 9
inch pie crust
1 (15 oz) can pumpkin puree
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1 (12 oz) can evaporated milk
2 large eggs
1 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted
Whipped cream and crushed cinnamon cookies for garnish
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the pumpkin puree, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and cloves until well combined.
Gradually pour in the evaporated milk while continuing to whisk. Add the eggs one at a time, ensuring they are fully incorporated before adding the next.
Gently stir in the melted butter, making sure not to overmix the batter.
Pour the pumpkin mixture into the pre baked pie crust, smoothing out the top with a spatula.
Bake in the preheated oven for 40 50 minutes, or until a knife inserted into the center of the pie comes out clean. The edges should be set but the center should still be slightly jiggly.
Remove from the oven and allow to cool on a wire rack. Once cooled, refrigerate for at least 3 hours, or until fully chilled.
Before serving, garnish with a dollop of whipped cream and crushed cinnamon cookies.
