This protein-enriched green juice draws on the American smoothie and juice bar culture that grew in popularity during the health food movement of the late 20th century, combining leafy greens with fruit and protein supplementation.

Ingredients

  • 2 cup spinach leaves
  • 1 cup kale leaves
  • 1 cucumber, medium-sized
  • 1 apple, large
  • 1/2 cup pineapple chunks
  • 1 scoop whey protein powder, unflavored
  • 1 cup coconut water
  • ice cubes, to taste

Instructions
