A refreshing green juice blending spinach, kale, and celery with bright orange and grapefruit segments, thinned with coconut water. Light, hydrating, and packed with vitamins.

The combination of citrus fruits and green vegetables in this recipe draws on the American tradition of fresh juice blends that became popular with the health-food movement of the 1970s and remain a staple at juice bars nationwide.

Ingredients

  • 4 cup fresh spinach
  • 2 cup kale, de-stemmed
  • 1 cup cucumber, peeled and chopped
  • 1 cup celery, chopped
  • 3 oranges, peeled and segmented
  • 2 grapefruits, peeled and segmented
  • 1 cup coconut water

Instructions

    In a large blender, combine the spinach, kale, cucumber, and celery. Blend until smooth.
