About This Recipe

A simple green juice made with spinach, cucumber, lemon, cilantro, and mint. Low in carbs and refreshing, it works well as a light morning drink or afternoon pick-me-up.

Green juices gained popularity in the United States during the health food movement of the 2000s and 2010s. This version uses a base of spinach and cucumber with bright herb and citrus notes, keeping the carb count low enough for a ketogenic diet.

Ingredients

  • 2 cup spinach, fresh
  • 1 medium cucumber, peeled and seeded
  • 1 lemon, peeled
  • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves, chopped
  • 2 cup ice cubes

Instructions
