Arctic Fog: A Nordic-Inspired Keto Dessert Cocktail
About This Recipe
A chilled Nordic-inspired cocktail featuring vodka and cloudberry liqueur, sweetened with monk fruit syrup to keep it keto-friendly. Light and refreshing with a bright citrus finish.
Cloudberries are rare amber-colored berries native to the Arctic tundra of Scandinavia, Finland, and northern Russia. Prized for centuries in Nordic cuisine, they were historically foraged during brief summer windows and preserved as liqueurs and jams to brighten long, dark winters.

- 1 tbsp monk fruit syrup
- 3 fl oz sparkling water
- 6 ice cubes

- cloudberries, for garnish
Instructions
- 1
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice cubes and add vodka, cloudberry liqueur, lemon juice, and monk fruit syrup.
- 2

- 3

Top with sparkling water, giving it a gentle stir.
- 5
Garnish with a lemon twist and cloudberries on a skewer.
Chef's Notes
Keto-friendly thanks to monk fruit syrup in place of simple syrup. If cloudberry liqueur is unavailable, lingonberry or apricot liqueur makes a good substitute with a similar fruity profile.
Plating Tips
Serve in a chilled coupe or Nick and Nora glass. Thread a few cloudberries onto a cocktail pick and rest it across the rim alongside the lemon twist for a clean, elegant presentation.
