Ingredients

  • 3 large apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
  • 1 package (2 sheets) vegan puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 3 tablespoons vegan butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup vegan caramel sauce
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, toss the apple slices with cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves.
  3. On a lightly floured surface, roll out one sheet of pastry to form a circle about 12 inches in diameter. Cut into 12 equal strips.
  4. Place half of the apple slices along the edge of the pastry strip, leaving a small gap at the end. Fold the strip over the apples, enclosing them, and pinch the edges to seal. Repeat with the remaining strips and apples.
  5. Arrange the filled pastry strips in a circular pattern on a parchment lined baking sheet. Brush the top of each strip with melted vegan butter.
  6. Bake for 20 25 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and puffed. Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly.
  7. Drizzle the wreath with vegan caramel sauce and sprinkle with granulated sugar. Serve warm.
