bought or homemade) 2 tbsp butter, softened 4 slices American cheese (optional) Salt and pepper to taste Bangin' BBQ Sauce: 1 cup ketchup 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar 1/4 cup brown sugar 1/4 cup molasses 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce 1 tsp smoked paprika 1 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp onion powder 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (optional) Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Preheat a grill or indoor griddle to medium high heat.
In a large bowl, combine the Bangin' BBQ Sauce ingredients and whisk until smooth.
Brush the grill or griddle with oil and add the pre cooked beef brisket or pulled pork. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Grill for 2 3 minutes per side or until heated through and slightly charred.
Brush the cooked meat generously with Bangin' BBQ Sauce, turning to coat evenly. Grill for another 1 2 minutes or until the sauce has thickened and slightly caramelized. Remove from heat and let rest.
Split the brioche slider buns and spread the softened butter on the insides of each half. Toast the buns on the grill, cut side down, for 1 2 minutes or until golden brown.
Place the toasted buns on a serving platter, bottoms up.
Assemble the sliders by layering the BBQ glazed meat, coleslaw, and American cheese (if using) onto the bun bottoms. Top with the bun tops.
Serve immediately, and enjoy the sizzling, smoky aroma that fills the air!
Chef’s Insight
The secret to perfect street food-style sliders lies in the balance of flavors and textures. The tangy coleslaw complements the rich BBQ sauce, while the soft bun and melted cheese provide a comforting base for the juicy meat.
Notes
For an extra smoky flavor, consider using a BBQ wood chip blend when grilling the meat.
