  • fat coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup agave syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • 1 cup ice
  • Freshly grated nutmeg, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan over medium heat, whisk together the almond milk, coconut milk, cocoa powder, agave syrup, vanilla extract, and sea salt until well combined and smooth. Heat gently, stirring occasionally, until the mixture is steaming but not boiling.
  2. Remove from heat and let cool slightly before dividing the mixture evenly among 6 glasses. Place each glass in the refrigerator to chill for at least 2 hours or up to overnight.
  3. Just before serving, fill each chilled glass with ice and top with the cocoa coconut mixture. Garnish with a generous sprinkle of freshly grated nutmeg and serve immediately.
