  • 8 large jalapeno peppers, halved lengthwise and seeded
  • 1 cup smoked cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tbsp BBQ rub (homemade or store

  • 1/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp chopped green onions
  • 1 tbsp melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium heat, around 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the smoked cheddar cheese, cream cheese, BBQ rub, and green onions until well combined.
  3. Stuff each jalapeno half with the cheese mixture, pressing gently to pack it in.
  4. Dip each stuffed jalapeno in melted butter and then roll in panko breadcrumbs to coat evenly.
  5. Place the coated poppers on the preheated grill, directly over the heat source. Cook for 8 10 minutes, turning occasionally, until the breadcrumbs are golden brown and the jalapenos are tender.
  6. Remove from the grill and let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
