Ingredients

  • 200ml soy milk
  • 50g cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 4 tbsp sugar
  • Zest of 2 oranges
  • 6 scoops dairy
  • free chocolate ice cream
  • 1 bottle sparkling apple juice
  • Orange slices for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine soy milk, cocoa powder, and sugar over medium heat. Stir until fully combined and smooth. Add the vanilla extract and orange zest. Remove from heat once heated through but not boiling.
  2. In six tall glasses, scoop three large spoonfuls of dairy free chocolate ice cream into each glass. Pour the chocolate mixture evenly over the ice cream in each glass. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
  3. Top up each glass with sparkling apple juice until full, leaving a layer of foam on top. Garnish with an orange slice and serve immediately.
