In a small saucepan, gently melt the dark chocolate over low heat. Stir occasionally until smooth and glossy. Set aside to cool slightly.
In a blender, combine the fresh cherries, almond milk, ice cubes, agave syrup or honey, vanilla extract, and melted chocolate. Blend on high speed until fully combined and creamy.
Pour the mixture into four tall glasses, leaving enough space for garnishing.
Top each glass with a few fresh cherries and a light dusting of cocoa powder.
