- 2 cups fresh strawberries, rinsed and dried 8 oz dark chocolate, finely chopped 1 cup dark chocolate chips 1/4 cup heavy cream 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg Pinch of sea salt
Instructions
- Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper and set aside.
- In a double boiler, gently melt the finely chopped dark chocolate until smooth and glossy. Remove from heat and allow to slightly cool.
- Holding each strawberry by the green stem, dip it into the melted chocolate, ensuring it's fully coated, then place onto the prepared baking sheet. Repeat with remaining strawberries. Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes to set the chocolate.
- In a small saucepan, combine heavy cream, cinnamon, nutmeg, and a pinch of sea salt. Heat over medium low heat until steam begins to rise from the mixture but do not boil. Remove from heat and let it steep for 10 minutes.
- Strain the spiced cream into a small bowl, then stir in the chocolate chips until fully melted and smooth. The spiced orange dip is now ready to serve alongside your chocolate dipped strawberries.
