Ingredients
- 16 oz firm tofu, cubed
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1/4 cup Kung Pao sauce
- 1/4 cup barbecue sauce
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp chili garlic paste
- 1 tsp brown sugar
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Press the tofu to remove excess water and cut into 1 inch cubes. Season with salt and pepper.
- In a large bowl, mix soy sauce, sesame oil, Kung Pao sauce, barbecue sauce, cornstarch, chili garlic paste, and brown sugar.
- Toss the tofu cubes in the sauce mixture until evenly coated. Let marinate for 20 minutes.
- In a large pan or grill over medium high heat, add vegetable oil and cook the marinated tofu until golden and caramelized, about 4 5 minutes on each side.
- Garnish with green onions and cilantro. Serve hot.
