Ingredients
- 2 cups dry ful medames (fava beans)
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp zatar spice mix
- 4 cups water
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 6 gluten-free pita bread (store-bought or homemade)
- Fresh fruit salad ingredients:
- 1 cup diced pineapple
- 1 cup diced mango
- 1 cup halved seedless grapes
- 1 cup chopped kiwi
- 1 cup diced papaya
- 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves, chopped
- Juice of one lime
- Honey, to taste
