  • free flour 4. 1/2 cup white sugar 5. 1 tbsp matcha green tea powder 6. 4 eggs, separated 7. 1/2 cup whole milk 8. 1 tsp vanilla extract 9. Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C). Grease and dust a 9 inch cake pan with gluten free flour, tapping out any excess.
  2. In a large bowl, sift together the gluten free flour, sugar, matcha powder, and salt.
  3. Add egg yolks, milk, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients, whisking until smooth. Set aside.
  4. In another bowl, beat the egg whites until they form soft peaks. Gently fold them into the batter.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake for 25 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  6. Cool the cake completely on a wire rack before serving.
