  • 8 lime wedges
  • Fresh cilantro leaves
  • Sliced jalapeños (optional) Tex
  • Mex Taco Seasoning:
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional) Carne Asada:
  • 1 lb beef skirt steak or flank steak, thinly sliced

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the beef with the Tex Mex Taco Seasoning. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or up to overnight.
  2. Preheat a grill or grill pan over high heat. Grill the seasoned beef until cooked through and slightly charred, about 3 4 minutes per side. Remove from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
