Ingredients
24 chicken wings (drumettes and flats)
1 cup Fireball Whisky BBQ sauce
1/2 cup honey
1/4 cup butter, melted
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
Salt to taste
Instructions
In a large bowl, combine Fireball Whisky BBQ sauce, honey, melted butter, apple cider vinegar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, ground black pepper, and salt. Mix well to create the marinade.
Place the chicken wings in a separate bowl and pour half of the marinade over them. Toss the wings to coat them evenly, then cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 2 hours for maximum flavor absorption.
Preheat your grill or griddle pan to medium high heat. Remove the wings from the fridge and discard any excess marinade. Grill the wings for about 5 7 minutes per side, or until cooked through and golden brown. Baste the wings with the remaining marinade throughout the cooking process for an extra smoky and spicy kick!
Once the wings are fully cooked, remove them from the heat and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
Chef’s Insight
The key to perfect BBQ chicken wings is in the marinade - don't skimp on time! Let those flavors really soak in for an unforgettable taste experience.
Notes
For an extra-smoky flavor, consider using a smoker box or soaked wood chips on the grill.
