  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill or smoker to medium high heat (350°F).
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the BBQ sauce, honey, apple cider vinegar, sriracha, soy sauce, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to create the firecracker glaze.
  3. Pat dry the chicken thighs with paper towels, then season both sides with salt and pepper.
  4. Place the chicken thighs directly onto the grill or smoker grates, skin side up. Grill for 15 minutes.
  5. Brush the cooked side of each chicken thigh with half of the firecracker glaze. Flip the chicken thighs and continue to cook for another 15 minutes.
  6. Brush the second side of each chicken thigh with the remaining firecracker glaze, and cook until the internal temperature reaches 165°F, about 10 15 more minutes.
  7. Remove the cooked chicken from the grill or smoker and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
