  • on chicken thighs 2. 1 cup Smoky BBQ sauce (recipe below) 3. 1 head cabbage, thinly sliced 4. 1/2 cup mayonnaise 5. 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar 6. 1/4 cup sugar 7. 1 tbsp celery seeds 8. Salt and pepper to taste Smoky BBQ sauce: 1. 1 cup ketchup 2. 1/2 cup brown sugar 3. 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar 4. 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce 5. 1 tbsp molasses 6. 1 tsp smoked paprika 7. 1/2 tsp chili powder 8. 1/2 tsp garlic powder 9. 1/2 tsp onion powder 10. Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium high heat, around 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine all Smoky BBQ sauce ingredients. Stir until well combined and slightly thickened, then set aside.
  3. Season chicken thighs with salt and pepper. Grill for 20 25 minutes, turning occasionally, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Brush with Smoky BBQ sauce during the last 5 minutes of grilling.
  4. In a large bowl, mix together cabbage, mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, celery seeds, salt, and pepper to make the tangy coleslaw. Chill until ready to serve.
