Salt and pepper, to taste 12. 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped (optional) 13. 1 lime, cut into wedges (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together paprika, cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add the thinly sliced chicken to the spice mixture and toss until evenly coated. Set aside for 15 minutes to marinate.
  3. In a large skillet or griddle, heat olive oil over medium high heat.
  4. Add the seasoned chicken and cook for 4 5 minutes per side or until cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add the sliced bell peppers and onions. Cook for about 5 7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tender and slightly charred.
  6. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and toss with the vegetables. Cook for an additional 2 3 minutes.
  7. Warm flour tortillas in the microwave or on a dry skillet for about 10 seconds per side.
  8. Assemble fajitas by placing a portion of chicken and vegetables onto each tortilla, garnishing with fresh cilantro and lime wedges if desired.
  9. Serve immediately.
