  • 4 large russet potatoes
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 cups chili (store

  • Firecracker peppers, thinly sliced (optional)
  • Green onions, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cut the potatoes into thin fries and toss with vegetable oil, salt, and pepper. Spread them evenly onto a lined baking sheet.
  3. Bake the fries for 20 minutes, flipping once halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
  4. Remove the fries from the oven and top with chili, followed by shredded cheddar cheese.
  5. Place the baking sheet back in the oven for another 5 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Top with sliced firecracker peppers and green onions (optional). Serve immediately.
